Scott Saxe is an entrepreneur who founded and partnered in several other businesses. He has had leadership roles that have transformed organizations.
Scott has over 35 years of experience in technology, personnel, and business management. His background includes significant experience in strategic planning, cybersecurity, and process improvement. Having spent many years in the loyalty space, he is well-versed in incentives, rewards, and travel. He is a natural communicator, practiced in distilling complex information into accessible narratives. He is a powerful relationship builder and excels at collaborative team building.
Scott currently owns and operates Saxe Enterprises, which provides services across a variety of verticals, including travel, technology, loyalty, health, and consulting.
He is also the Managing Director for Charity Resources LLC, providing strategic planning, revenue enhancements, engagement, development, consulting and business services to non-profit organizations.
Prior to Saxe Enterprises, Scott was Chief Information officer at Cbsi (Consumer Benefit Services, Inc) for nearly 15 years. As CIO, Scott was responsible for strategic direction, compliance, and oversaw all aspects of technology for this loyalty marketing company.
Scott served on the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) from 2007 through 2014, and from 2009-2012 served as the Board President of the Illinois Chapter. In addition to his local role, he was Chair of the National Board of Representatives from 2011-2014. He is currently the State Leader for LLS’s Illinois Advocacy Committee.
Scott also served on the Board of Directors for Community Health Charities – Midwest Region. In 2013, he joined the Illinois Advocacy Committee for the American Heart Association and was elected Chair in 2018. Scott has been an advisor to the Board of Directors for Culinary Care since its founding in 2013. In 2016, he joined the Board of I Support Community, now Inside Out Club – DuPage, and in May 2018 was elected Board President.
In February of 2018, he was appointed to the Youth Committee by the Mayor and Board of Trustees in Elk Grove Village, IL, where Scott and his wife, Melissa, have lived for over 18 years. He is also the Vice-President of the Elk Grove Parks Foundation, and the incoming Vice-President of the Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove.
He stays involved with several other charities, as well, advising them on fundraising, Board development, and strategic planning. As a public speaker, Scott assists in engagement, advocacy, and fundraising. He is passionate about improving lives and raising awareness.
Wanting to have an even greater impact, Scott founded the Illinois Coalition for Advocacy, Responsibility, and Education (ICARE) an advocacy coalition in Illinois to foster collaboration among health organizations and to have a stronger voice in Springfield.
